WaterSMART Progress Report
In 2016, Reclamation released the WaterSMART 2010 – 2016 Progress Report. According to the report, projects initiated from 2010-2016 are expected to result in savings of 1.14 million acre-feet of water per year upon completion representing the annual household use by ~4.6 million people. In other words, the amount of water used by the current population of Phoenix and surrounding areas.
