Watershed Health Goals

A wide variety of nature-based interventions can help Colorado water providers protect their forested watersheds and build resilience to wildfires. Investing in these interventions can help meet watershed health goals such as improved water quality, erosion control, reduced sedimentation, increased supply resilience, and watershed land conservation. This section of the decision tool helps water providers understand whether their watershed health goals, intervention purposes, and intervention types are suitable for bond financing, Clean Water State Revolving Fund loans, and/or Drinking Water Revolving Fund loans.
